PROOF OF VACCINATION IS REQUIRED FROM SEPT 22, 2021.

1) Maximum capacity is 100 patrons.
2) Masks are mandatory everywhere except when doing activities you would normally come in for and in the lounge when eating or drinking (if you do not have a mask we will provide one).
3) We must take valid names and contact information as required by Toronto Public Health.
4) All Rooms and Lockers are rented for 8 hours and can be renewed.
5) There are SOME SPECIALS (see SPECIALS here) and otherwise there are no discounts or specials until further notice.
6) There is social distancing except when doing activities you would normally come in for.
7) Credit and Debit cards are preferred. Your statement will say “Auntie Emm’s,” not Spa Excess.

As a reminder, all customers and staff must wear masks at all times. Customers are also required to leave name and contact information. We thank you for your patience and co-operation until these temporary restrictions end.

The following is a reply from the owners at Spa Excess regarding recent price increases.

“It is very expensive the small room now is $38 for 6 hours and you cannot rent locker until the room is finished.”

Hi [GOOGLE REVIEWER],
We agree that prices are high during this COVID moment in time. Many Toronto businesses went bankrupt during COVID. Spa Excess was closed for 18 months and we spent multiple hundreds of thousands of dollars to stay alive for our customers. However, obviously that amount has an end. The Ontario Government has allowed us to open in stage 3 but with restrictions. Also, many customers are still afraid to venture out. To stay afloat we had to make choices that were difficult. We cannot have specials and discounts during this time or Spa Excess may not be here in the next few months. The cost to run this bathhouse is humongous. Hopefully most of the remaining non-vaccinated people will choose to get vaccinated to allow businesses to get back to normal. Our specials will be back. We have decided to allow the locker rentals but there are only 20 available to allow for a maximum 100 occupancy with physical distancing during stage 3.
